Richard Gooding is a qualified greenkeeper that began his working life in the turf care industry in 1984. In 1998 he established Machines Direct Ltd, supplying materials and carrying out contracting work through sports clubs, golf clubs and schools.
Due to many requests, he and Ro Gooding established Specialist Lawn Services to carry out the same operations to the domestic market including grounds maintenance and care of large domestic lawns.
